Crootz was created by an active duty soldier, Brent Carey, and his wife, Teresa.  The company is still operated by the Carey family with Teresa as president and a dedicated virtual team that has found the Hooah! spirit.

The Hooah! Button that brought you to our site is our way of sharing the military culture and spirit with everyone who touches it. We hope you'll share our version of "Heard, Understood, and Acknowledged (HUA)" with your friends and family.

There are a lot of good people here and abroad serving their country. And a lot of family and friends they count on for support. If you know an Army service member, regardless of when they served, we would be honored to help you share the Hooah! spirit with them or their family.

Brent is a Lt. Colonel in the Army Reserve.  His Army experience is an interesting one, beginning as an active duty soldier with the 1st Infantry Division (Big Red One!), where he first got commissioned.  After 15 years as a businessman and Reservist, he returned to full-time Army duty and a one-year deployment in Iraq.  HOOAH!

Everybody needs an XO, and we have one of the best. . .Okay, she's our General Manager, but things do get done in fine military fashion with Amanda at the lead.  Amanda Conley enlisted in the Army in 1987 as an MP and retired in 2007.  HOOAH!  She ended her career as the Company Operations and Training NCO for the Jacksonville Recruiting Company.  She also served four years as a liaison between Congress and the Commanding General and senior Army Leadership on matters relating to recruiting.  She enjoys time off from Crootz with her husband (retired from the Army in 2000) and five children.
